“Quirke and Kinsella create baroque folk good for the head and the heart.” - Tony Clayton Lea, The Irish Times

“Lemoncello’s debut EP, Stuck Upon the Staircase, revealed Quirke and Kinsella to be nigh on sorcerous artists in the realm of immersive, harmony-led folk.  2019 will see Lemoncello continue to emerge as a vital voice in the country’s thriving alternative folk scene” - Brian Coney, The Thin Air, 19 for '19

Lemoncello are Laura Quirke and Claire Kinsella; two Irish musicians, from Carlow and Donegal respectively, who became friends while studying at Maynooth University, near Dublin. They make music together using four fundamental ingredients — a guitar, a cello and two voices.

Collaboration with friends has been a recurring motif in Lemoncello’s story and greatly important for the duo’s development. They have worked with many Irish artists such as Hatchlings, Alannah Thornburgh (Alfi), Myles O’ Reilly, David Keenan, Junior Brother and Gareth Quinn Redmond.

In 2018 Lemoncello successfully crowd-funded their EP, Stuck Upon The Staircase. Since then they have made appearances on Irish and UK TV and radio. The pair appeared at numerous festivals in the same year, including Other Voices and Body and Soul.

Laura and Claire are currently putting together their second EP, which is due for release in 2019.

She has been listed as one to watch in 2018 by and Whelan’s and her music has received praise from various sources including The Irish Times.

Rosa Nutty is a Dublin songwriter who combines thought-provoking lyrics, inventive vocal harmonies and minimalistic instrumentation to create a captivating sound that is both original and familiar.

June 2017 saw the release of Pips, the follow-up to her critically-acclaimed debut EP Bunny (2015). Pips marked a striking progression for the artist, unveiling a mature and established sound with a clear sense of self.

For the last number of months Nutty has been tucked away, writing her debut album which is due to be released in early 2020.

Rosa Nutty is a grafter aiming to negotiate the crossover from niche to higher profile without compromising her song craft. Her debut EP, Bunny, and last year’s single release Sea Salt – not discounting her appearances at Castlepalooza and the Other Voices Music Trail – highlighted the songwriter’s knack for atmospheric pop/folk that doesn’t take the usual routes… Expect music smarts in abundance from a songwriter who we warrant will be playing larger venues within a year”
