Launched in 2018 by Islander, Quiet Lights is Cork's cherished winter festival, celebrated for its intimate atmosphere and heartfelt programming. Held annually in the heart of Cork City, the festival transforms the city's venues into havens for folk, traditional, and experimental music. Quiet Lights has become a platform for both emerging and established artists, offering audiences a chance to experience music in its most personal form. With each edition, the festival continues to shine a light on the rich tapestry of sounds that define the contemporary folk scene.

Quiet Lights returns for its sixth edition in 2025, filling Cork’s small venues with music that lingers and surprises. We are delighted to share the first glimpse of this year’s lineup - come in, explore, and let the Festival’s quiet magic settle in.

For a taste of what’s in store, explore our two films ‘A City Under Quiet Lights’ created by our collaborator Myles O’Reilly below, featuring some of our favourite artists like Lisa O’Neill, Martin Hayes, Joshua Burnside & Laura Quirke, Niamh Regan, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Junior Brother, Rachael Lavelle & Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin.

We’re looking forward to seeing you this November 🌙🕯️
